My life is aimless. I don't have goals. I don't know what I want. Yet I tend to dwell on the negatives in my life for being a failure socially and professionally, and having too much time doesn't help. I was distracted by work for 8 hours a day, after which I would be tired to contemplate my life and future.

Dear Diurnal,

I have often felt similar to what you describe. I am so sorry that this feeling has you in its grips. Wish I knew what to say that would be helpful. My heart goes out to you.

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen
