I can't seem to bear the thought of losing my mother. I would go places with her to shop for groceries and clothes and fun stuff and visit people. If that would happen, I would feel a terrible void of having another female close by. I'm afraid it'd be very hard on me to deal with. It makes me shudder just to think about it. I'm just trying to relieve this burden of emotion I'm feeling. it depresses me that I seem to act and think so young but I just know eventually I'm going to go the same way too.

That is certainly a scary thought. Try to focus on the present. Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @modestlychee6463, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

I think it's a pretty good way to just not think about it. Focus on the present as Mickey said, and the good things instead. Cross all bridges when/if you come to them. You'll be okay. 🙏

I do my best to focus on the present. What triggered it was that in the past year she kept saying that this is probably my time to go right in front of me, and also that this brother of mine said he didn't think she would last all that long, either.
