How do you keep yourself on an even keel in uncertain times?

Right now I'm not always getting the balance right and this last year and a bit has certainly had it's challenges. I notice I am increasingly unsettled by guidance/rule changes - unfortunately this is part of life now. I'm also missing my old life which won't be returning anytime soon. Socially I'm more anxious than I've been in a long time which is the inevitable lack of social contact.

I'm worrying, procrastinating and lacking in motivation. My exercise has dropped off (through injury) and my eating is not consistently healthy.

I try to focus but my thoughts just scatter themselves like a flock of stray sheep. I can just about manage to read but only in short bursts. I try to draw but it doesn't enthuse me. Nothing enthuses me. I go from one thing to another and finish nothing.

I've tried to-do lists but I don't seem to be able to stick to them!

I have been doing daily yoga which is helpful- basically because I am following step by step instructions I think.

Does anyone have any ideas of things that can help?

Hi, Discombobulated! I hope you get some good answers to this. You sound like you're describing me, except I haven't been doing the yoga lately. Good for you, doing that! I look forward to your other responses.
