I am so angry at my brother who tested +ve for covid-19 a couple of days ago and still goes out and interact with other people, who also know he is infected. He was instructed to isolate for 10 days, but he went out the next day. I have always criticized those who don't follow the instructions, and I am very frustrated that I cannot do anything about what my brother is doing. To make things worse, he is now "isolating" at my elderly parents' house. My father told him to come home (my brother lives in another city alone), so he doesn't have to go out for grocery, and if he needs any medical care (which luckily he didn't need). But he is also not careful at home with my parents, he sits with them and keeps moving freely at home, and my parents say we cannot do anything about it. He is 33 years old, and they cannot force him to stay in a room. I am afraid my parents catch the virus from him, and the effect on them would be worse because of their weak immune system. It's very irresponsible of him.

I think your thoughts and feelings about this are TOTALLY justified. I would feel exactly same if I were in that situation. In some countries, people who knowingly expose others to the SARS-C0VID virus are arrested by the police and charged with a crime. I hope and pray that your parents do not contract the virus.

I wish he was fined to learn a lesson. If I lived where he is, I would have reported him without any hesitation, although I doubt authorities there would actually care. I am so furious that I don't speak with him these days. I told him to stay isolated and stay away from my parents, but he wouldn't listen
