I'm doing really well considering I'm stuck in a foreign country and unable to return home until I test negative for Covid. The test I took 2 days ago was positive. I hope today's test is negative.

With a lot of caffeine and benzos and then when I realized my diet was just crap all day I slammed down 34 grams of protein in tuna pouches so now I just feel mediocre.

I've had to do some adjustments to maintain a level of calm, happiness, and control amid the many storms that life brings.

I've also had to set self-boundaries, meaning that I unsubscribe from certain things, ignore others, utilize my own kind of spirituality for spiritual healing, maintain my beliefs and use similar social support to heal in communities that hold similar beliefs, and stick to advocacy and awareness as my cathartic coping mechanism and subliminal coping mechanism in a society replete with hate and harm.

I’m doing okay, there’s been some stresses but some good things too. I treated myself to a new hat, shawl and gloves all in colours I love and make me feel
happy. I realised I hadn’t treated myself for such a long time and it did feel good.

I took my normal meds too early and now I'm hoping I don't get tired too early. Or too hungry. Its the middle of the afternoon though. The sanest time to go to bed is still 4 hours away. Today my anxiety could have been avoided if I had not had an entire pitcher of matcha iced tea and several sodas before the tea. I do have some health anxiety but I could have handled things better today.

Today I found some enjoyable distraction on tv. During other times throughout the day I've been arguing with other parts of my brain, trying to find a way to do better.

It did not work. I ate a bunch of snacks and then some pizza and I passed out at 4:30 without my sleep meds or my music and I found out Bob Saget died. So now I've taken my melatonin and I'm waiting for it to kick in and for my phone to charge and hopefully get back to sleep.
