So, I have a cat called Cleo she came into our life in 2013 so we've had her for ten years and 4 days ago I heard her meowing outside fighting a mouse. When mum went to see there was a dead mouse outside but no Cleo we don't know what happened to her. I know that when Cleo was younger she'd leave for the whole day but then come home, Cleo is now a senior cat and I doubt thats what happened. Anyway, my heart is broken I miss patting her she's my best friend and to not have her here is a great loss. I don't know how I'll cope if I can't find my dear Cleo. She was microchipped but it's on my sister's old mobile phone number, I'm just so sad I cried last night thinking about her. I hope no harm has come to her and that she's okay but the likelihood that I'll find her is pretty slim to none. I am devastated.

I hope she comes back to you soon. I've had many cats throughout my life, and the only thing one can say for certain is there is no predicting what a cat will do.
Outdoor cats, especially, can be tempted off by many many distractions. I had a boy kitty who took off for two weeks, then mysteriously came back home, with a small injury; but otherwise, was fine. He went on to live a good, long life. I have a girl kitty who, when new to us, ran away for one night, then made her way back to our shed. She has been a very good girl (now an indoor cat, exclusively) ever since. I know the pain of a beloved cat going missing. I hope she returns soon. |
