So, I went to good Sammie's to buy clothes because my shirt buttons was opening and im looking at size large etc and nothing fits and it makes me feel so sad because I'm so big. Also I have insulin resistance so losing weight is super hard it just makes me so sad. I wish I never got insulin resistance if I never went on olanzipine I would have never gained 29kgs it's just sad. All the styles I like I can't wear because it won't fit and I just want to feel healthy and stop craving sugar. I've been exercising daily but when I remember I have insulin resistance it just makes me sad and I guess all I wanted to do was vent. Thanks for listening

I feel for you... I also gained a lot on olanzepine. Are you still taking it? I changed due to weight gain...
Maybe you could google how to lose weight when insulin resistant AS WELL AS consulting a dietitian?? |

Dietatians advice is useless she just suggested I remove carbs out of my diet which is the dumbest nonsense I've ever heard of like carbs have vitals nutrients, that without it your body is not working as well. I've lost weigh many times before I guess just with insulin resistance you need ten times the effort and duration of exercises.

I was on olanzapine for awhile too and i gained a ton of weight. So I feel you there. But while I agree that carbs do have some benefits (for example, they are essential in transporting fat to your brain for fuel), not all carbs are created equal. Some are more nutrient-dense and don’t **** with your blood sugar to the extent that others do. And I am pre-diabetic, so I do understand about insulin resistance making it tough to lose weight. I think you should find a more realistic dietician or ask your doctor to refer you to one.
