I was doing well practicing mindfulness and working on trying to meditate ,
stay calm , and in the moment. I have to admit that I'm failing . I get frustrated
and it boils over into anger. I'm trying to be a nice calm person but the
world won't let me be. People and their bull crap. What happened to courtesy ?
Why is everyone in a rush ? Why am I being lied to and used ? I wish I could
focus on the good and see the positive things in life. Gratitude. Is it the depression
just pulling me down like quicksand ? It's all making me angry and it's focused
inward because I feel powerless to do or change anything. I don't want to feel
this way.

The best of mindfulness is that even when you failed at being mindful and staying calm and such, there’s not judgement.
So, you failed and what? Let yourself to do it as an event that it’s gonna happen for sure along your practise. Use it as an alley. Get the information that is telling you, if need it.
Did you realised that you aren’t either letting yourself to feel frustrated, or angry. You are now frustrating yourself more for feeling frustrated. And so on. That happens with feelings and emotions. they are gonna be present in our lives, just as mind makes thoughts.

In Mindfulness failure doesn’t exist. It’s a continuos lifetime process to get information, knowing better situations or events, knowing the main actors in a story better to get a clearer mind of what’s happening in front of you and with you.

I know it, I’m being a know-all. This happens because I’m deep into mindfulness, relaxation for stress and anxiety management.

Congratulation because you realised and you are more aware now that you were before. I’m sure of that.

I don't have an answer for you, my friend. For me I have to ignore/keep anger at bay for health reasons & bc since my Mom passed, nothing matters anyway. Hope we master our anger

I'm reading a book now. "the compassionate mind approach to managing your anger using compassion focused therapy". It starts off really good.

It sounds interesting! A little bit long the title, lol, but cool.
Thank you! 👍
