Selfish people make me feel sick. My “friend” told me I was an emotional drain. She is a callous lying …. Woman.

A friend of mine asked me to stop calling her. She said i complained about my life (ie my mother) for an hour, then felt better, but then SHE felt like carp. It was really hard to hear. I was embarrassed that thats how she saw me.

Hi mountainstream..... I understand exactly how you feel. That sickening feeling when you pour your heart out to somebody whose not even listening. The problem is your friend doesn't know HOW to listen. That's why people go to therapists to share things with them that they can't share with others , for whatever reason. In my circle I've been labeled " high maintenance ".
How insulting. I won't get into the details here.
The bottom line is it's time for a new friend.
