When someone asks how you're still single and it just makes you want to cry instead thanks for not making me sleep because now I can't stop thinking about it, all the reasons why someone wouldn't want to date me. The fact that other girls are so much prettier than me and I'm just a fat potato sack. Definitely not the thoughts I wanted to have before falling asleep.

I’ve been asked that too, and it pisses me off for a variety of reasons; firstly, it implies that it’s bad or wrong to be single. Consequently, it also implies that if you’re single, something is automatically wrong with you. I am currently single by choice, and frankly I’ve never been happier. Maybe I’ll get back into the dating scene, maybe I won’t. But I have more important things to deal with right now. It’s honestly not a reflection of you, it’s a reflection of that person who said that to you and what a ****ing dumbass they are.

I got asked the very same question not long ago and I found it to be sad because it reminded me of the poor choices I made. In fact I deleted my profile from the website. But anyway, I am under severe stress regarding a relationship and it seems like no matter what meds I take I am still in and out of sleep throughout the night. This week in two days I slept 6 hours. I felt like a zombie at work. I had to kind of hide away in my office to avoid letting people see my eyes and demeanor. I guess I just want to know any tips to help me sleep while under this stress. Inam doing what I can to relieve stress but I could use some new ideas. It is scary when you take sleep meds and still do not sleep well. Please help.
