I’m thankful for having my partner whose birthday is today. 😀 We have been together since the first day we met each other. 23 years now. We had hard moments were both had to learn how to live together but after these moments, mostly all took its place and get along very well now. Both put on our part and neither of us wants to live without the other.

I’m thankful for meds.
My doggie Miky coughs because of a problem with his trachea so I put a syringe of a vet med and he’s now calmly sleeping. I am so thankful nothing really bad happened to me and my friends during our youth, when the drinking age was 18. Another thread got me thinking about this. Who was responsible for the whole country practically changing the drinking age to that young? I remember one experience where the nightclub was incredibly irresponsible, actually to the point of criminal. They were plying us with free alcohol. This would never happen now.

It’s said mind can be a hell or a heaven. And it’s truth.
But I thank infinitely for having the mind I have, the ability of reasoning and being able to choose. Just at this point in time, having this ability we have and many times take for granted, it’s not only what encourage me because of the enormous curiosity I have for learning but also because is a stairway to freedom.
