[Please sorry for any grammar mistake, i am doing my best but not a native. Used to write in this forum some years ago. i don't find forums in my own language to be a safe place and there are days where i don't have anyone to talk. Altough realized i should reduce internet, i still look for a small place in the internet to occasionally share]
I just wanted to write that i made a present for a friend and it was a pair of knitted fingerless gloves, very poorly sewn. In fact, there was a lot of knots and badly crossing yarns on the side. Also, i put a felt decoration in the centre, not tight enough and prolly will come off Nonetheless, i shipped them. She lives in another town and was afraid she wouldn't receive it in time. I gifted her a book as well, but I feel guilty, cause the mittens are visible done fast with not enough care But I am so tired, i just hope she won't notice to much, or will gave them away. Idk I have been a careless person, now that I am getting old and people around me starting to get seriously ill or pass away, every bad action is triggering, even the smallest ones |

I'd rather have a pair of gloves (flawed or not) made by a friend than store-bought gloves made in a factory,

I think when there are imperfections, it is a sign that it’s handmade. That’s special because not only it’s handmade but also it’s from a friend who put effort into it.

Thank you for reassurance
I imagine her unwrapping the present and say thanks and all, just to find out she car barely wear them because the left mittent has a larger finger hole and the decoration is about to fall off, and feel like s*it. And that messed sewing, i ask myself are them even wearable? I feel like i threat her poorly Wrote about this stupid minor episode because had an overall anxious day Again, learning to be more careful in general |

My son and I have a very difficult relationship. However, when he was at a military program for troubled youths, he took vocational classes and made me a wood bat from a lathe. It is so special to me because baseball has always been our bond no matter how rocky our relationship was/is. I was overcome with emotion when he gave it to me.

She can always find a use for extra pair of mittens, imperfect and all.

Thank you very much for replying
I honestly hope she wouldn't notice too much or decoration won't fall apart |

(She sounded quite deluded today, i should have known, my mistake. Nothing has been gone right since 2016, i can only try to avoid mistakes of any sort, still it happens.
Thanks for your warm replies, btw) |
