Okay, so I have an obsession with a female teacher, (we are both females). I've even looked up her address. I know her license plate number. I've thought about going to find her house just to look out it. I also try and park next to her everyday at school. If I don't see her I get sad. I feel like we are connected. I feel like I can't live without her. I don't know what to do because I'm a senior in high school. So, I'm about to leave her. I want to stay connected to her. I really love her. I look up to her as a mentor. I even envision having conversations with her. Is this weird? I don't know what to do because I can't leave her. I'll go into a depression. I already lost another teacher (emotionally). It felt as if someone died. I feel as if I need her to nurture me. All i want is for her to give me attention and to love me. I can't let her go. I'll be alone.

Welcome to Psych Central (PC). Sorry to hear you are feeling depression and anxiety. You are looking for a caring nurturing person. I don't blame you because we all are. But sometimes we confuse our need for nurturing with our need for a companion. Do you have a therapist? This is something a therapist can go more in depth with you.

Keep in mind it is felony in most states to have a relationship with a student under 18 when you are a teacher. You may find that by stalking her you freak her out. You may be putting too high an expectation on this one person. Be careful.

There are many caring people here at PC. You may find the forums of interest http://forums.psychcentral.com

I know you wrote this a while ago. Don't know if you are still around. I write a journal which is really helpful. Perhaps write it all down, what you imagine you will talke about. In that way it might help you clarify stuff in your own mind.

Talk to your therapist about it.
i understand your feelings but you have to stop this obssessive behaviour of looking for her. It's awfull for both parties.

I had the exact same problem when I was at school :/ so, so hard to deal with. I'd been obsessed with her for five years when she complained about me to my head of year and said I was too 'intense', and that hurt deeper than anything else I've experienced. The obsession continued even after she'd complained about me, but I tried to channel it into the Sims PC game which helped a lot (feels like actual interaction). But can completely relate :/ so difficult. Message me if you need to chat

don't become a stalker, you will drive her away anyway if she ever found out how you feel. you seem to be stalking her even if you don't mean it to be, we all have people we look up to and admire, but don't take it that far.i am sorry for your feelings of loss. please try to talk about it to your t.
