Does anyone know if just SITTING THE IN THE SAME ROOM can have an adverse affect on you?

Sometimes i feel like a hamster in a cage.. but i cant always go work at a cafe i mean sometiems people are loud they're distracting at the cafe.

I go out on the weekends sometimes but lately i dont have a lot of time.

Is sunlight and excercise enough?
I am thinking of getting a fit-desk. This cant be a bad thing right? http://fitdesk.net/

i am getting one for my birthday, hope the endorphins improve my brain function I really do, lately im extremely depressive x_x

I think lack of new stimulation can definitely make you feel dragged down and sluggish. I work in a nursing home, and let me tell you, when family members take our residents out for lunch or stuff, their mood is so much better when they come back. They're also more alert and oriented, even the ones with dementia. The effect is temporary, but real. Can you get outside for your breaks/lunch, or even just another room? So you're not looking at the same four walls?
Thanks for this!

I'm of the opinion also that change in scene can REALLY help you. Kind of what Denise Darnell said. However, that item looks really cool and I think it could help!

That way you can get exercise while working - if it's something you WILL do then it's better than essentially only getting out some of the time because you're too busy or whatever the reason =)

I wish I had the option of working from anywhere but at work! stuck in the same building all day long, especially when the weather is nice, is painful.
