Depression has almost always been part of my life that I really didn't know how 'normal' felt. I feel almost like a happy kid again. How I felt before my parents passed and actually probably feel even better than that. I'm 22. The beginning of 2017, I really forced myself to get better.

-Started keeping up with cleaning. Little by little.
-Not sleeping all day long.
-I have lost 40 pounds so far.
-Starting to make myself socialize more.
-Instead of thinking the worse when something bad pops up, I'm positive.
-Taking better care of myself in general.

In the beginning of making myself feel better, I still would have some days of being down, but those started getting less and less.

Now, that I take care of myself again, I can take of others more. Like my boyfriend and pets.

I've been taking two antidepressants. Lexapro and Wellbutrin. Probably will have to take them forever because of my depression being genetic.

I actually made an account here before, but forgot my information. It's been awhile. I hit rock bottom, but now I'm 1000% better. I just want to let everyone know that it is possible to get better if you put your mind to it!~
