Today I feel numb. My life is definitely in a serious rut. All I want to do is to sit here silently with the tv on and checking out forums. Not necessarily feeling depressed but feeling nothing. I know that it is better to feel something than nothing. The depressed aggravated feeling will be coming later when I begin to care again.

watching TV and hanging out in forums isn't a bad thing, why not do it if you feel like it. Everyone needs a break sometimes

Leacon....this sounds like my life!!

I hope the aggravation stays away as long as possible. But I also think that if all you want to do for now is watch TV and stare at the forums, that that's okay to let yourself do that for a bit. You will pull out of it at some point, but it's okay to give in to your feelings sometimes.

Feeling nothing can be just as difficult as feeling too much, sometimes. Be good to yourself and keep us posted on how you're doing.

Thank You for understanding feeling nothing is actually repressing the bad feelings including depression. As of now I do not care enough about myself or anything else to feel depressed. I keep myself from sinking more by reading and posting. When I am like this, I am more likely to self injure maybe to get myself feeling again. To get better I will need to feel the depression.

unfortunately thats' true, but just think of the long long time you will be happy after you get better. This is definitely worth it

I really hope you stay safe Can you think of any other ways to get yourself feeling again? What about art things, like painting, writing, playing some music, walking in a park (or city) with a camera and looking for nice shots?
