Hi all,
I've been struggling with depression lately. One thing that helps me is to listen to inspirational music while im at work or cleaning up. I think it helps because I have so many negative thoughts floating in my mind all day, and the uplifting music that I listen too heals my soul a bit. I just wanted to drop a little note to you all that I hope this works for you too.

((((((((((((((ESTHER)))))))))))

I got advice about calming music from OZZIE when I first arrived here at PC. It procratinated because I didnt think it would help. Boy was I ever wrong.
I went to Target. They have a wonderful selection of relaxing CD's. All kinds. I bought Island sounds. Thunderstorms and tropical forrest rain. I would play them at night and I drifted off to sleep quite peacefully. I am glad that calming music has such a positive effect on us all. Thanks for sharing.

PS. I should listened to Ozzie sooner. LOL

Hi EV, I agree with you totally about music being uplifting !

I have loved soul music for nearly 30 years now and its like the background to my life. I put it on (just now been doing dusting with it on in fact) and I have a little bit more energy, a little bit of happiness, singing along, a little jiggle every now and then Music for your soul !

I expect everyones music is different, but has similar effects.

This is a good thread, EV, and I hope lots of ppl out there find it to be true. Music for your soul.

Now, I'm off for a bath and let the music continue.........

I am glad it helps you Music for your soul.........Poppet

((((((( Music for your soulesthersvirtue!!!)))))))))))

I was beginning to think I was the ONLY one! Music for your soul Whenever I'm having a hard time starting my day...I have a CD changer that holds 3 CD's. I always keep 1 disk for each pick-up that I need for that day. (I wish I could put in more for more moods! But, Heck...It Works! Music for your soul)

All I have to do is drag my butt out of my kitchen nook & walk over to the stereo & push which disk I need for that morning....and I'm off!

Thanks for mentioning it... Music for your soul Music for your soul Music for your soul I think that maybe some other people may get something out of that idea! You're great!((((hugs! Music for your soul))))
