I do not do well in crowds around a bunch of strangers. Tomorrow is going to be a strain on me. I am taking my car to the county fairgrounds for a annual car show. I have never showed my car at this event, usually I just make a quick walk thru to look at others cars and look at the flea market booths. I am going to try to set my car up and have it entered in the judging. Probably a waste of time, I will not get any prizes. OR should I just stay home?

NO WAY - don't stay home

I can't handle crowds either, at all.

But sounds like you've put alot into your car - show it off.

Take a breathe - Think of it as an adventure, a one time thing.

I know it will take some effort, but do it.... after words
do something relaxing for yourself. You deserve it!

Don't stay home!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you've got a pretty spectacular car. Even if you don't win any prizes, it'll be good to show it off, right?

It's probably a little scary right now, but afterwards you'll be glad you did it.

I went. Started to turn around and go back home when I got in the sign up line. But it was one way and I could not pull out and go back. So I stayed there. The sign in guy was a friend from my old home town, 40 years ago. He remembered me.
I ran into several people from my youth, even a cousin I never see.

I survived the day even tho it started raining on us. I was still very happy when I pulled back into my driveway.

Thanks for encouraging me to go. I am trying to get out of this house more. Why is this so hard? My son is no help in this type of stuff. He would never come out of his room if he could get by without food and drink.

So happy you went, somehow when we are scared of going or doing something and we force ourselves it usually turns out good.
Hope you have a nice day today also.

Bravo! I envy you your day in the world. It is hard, and I don't know why either. May whatever combination of things that got you out to the show flow together often for you.
