Well I feel better today. I am surviving. Called former gf. She agreed to help me out with laundry. She also brought down a can of coffee. Also, somebody lelse left eft some food outside my door. It was greatly appreciated.

I got an appointment for Healthways, local mental health agency scheduled for tomorrow. Then I have a medical procedure to take care of Thursday and Friday. I'm not looking forward to going out.

I've been tryng to monitor my depression level. I take that Depression Quiz every five or six days. Last week my score was 67. I took it seterday and it was 57, I still might be experiencing major depression but I mist be getting better.

I wont know what the hell is going on until I see a doctor and talk to ta therapist. Hoepfully that will not be too munch lonnger.

I was really feelking bad yesterday. I was afraid to leave my apartment. I'm not all that social to begin with. But since being robbed I've been more isolated. I kept thinking somebody is watching me. They were waiting to for me to leave my apartment so they could get in again. I was obsessing about this yesterday and it was causing a lot of problems.

I reall y am afraid to leave my apartment. But I desperately need some clean clothes. Then I have my appointment Wednesday Thursday and Friday. So I guess I have to go out.

Well Life is good, I guess.

John, I wish you the best with your appointments. Depressedalaskan offers excellent advice - jot down or print out your posts here at PsychCentral and use them to kick-start therapy sessions if you need to.

Yes, you are dealing with real depression, but you also have rational reasons for heightened concern for your personal safety and that of your apartment. Try not to let the medical folks dismiss your reasonable concerns as unfounded paranoia symptoms. The depression complicates and intensifies your concerns, but those concerns are based in reality.

As you are able, do please keep us updated.

I'm sorry you are going through some rough times right now.
I hope you get back on track real soon.
Take care and good luck at the appointments

(((((John59))))) Sorry you are feeling so low. I have an idea that might help you with the apartment. How do people get into your apartment? Is your lock on your door a peace of junk? Have you given someone a key? I think I would start by having your landlord install a lock so that you feel safe. If you felt safe to leave your apartment it would relieve a lot of pressure on your back and mind. Just a suggestion. Hugs for your day.
