Hello everyone,

I am 19 and a student at the University of Hartford. I am in my third year of psychology and i love it, but i have a problem.

My father died on the day I moved into my college apartment, and in addition to this, my mom has been going through a violent divorce against my stepdad for the past two years, and I have been feeling prolonged saddness. I am new to this forum and thought i'd give online support grouping an attempt.

Anyone relate to anything like this??

Welcome.

I sure can relate to loss and stress intensifying depression. I've had chronic major clinical depression most of my life and stress and loss would always send me into a downward spiral. Hope the support you can find here will be helpful.
