I'm glad you have a kitty cat. I bet you have some acquaintances. How about reaching out and trying some volunteer activity so you can increase your circle of friends?

 I know the future is a foreboding, daunting prospect for any of us to look at, but don't count yourself out yet. I briefly read your profile, 4th year psychology student? Very impressive. Sounds to me like your future has a lot of promise to it.One of my favorite quotes is from Abraham Lincoln, in which he says "The best part about the future is it only comes one day at a time". Those few words have helped me calm some of my own concerns about the future, hope they help you the same. |

(((jacq10))) to answer your question: absolutely. Your future is waiting for you and I can bet it will be better than you think. And in the meantime, a cat can be a friend too. From my experience, sometimes animals can understand things better than humans.
Phoenix has some very good ideas about how to meet people, think about it. I did some volunteer work when I was in uni and I met a lot of nice ppl there. I had absolutely no friends in university but a lot of good acquaintances and some friends at the place I worked. __________________ I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead I lift my lids and all is born again I think I made you up inside my head |
