Aside from the wonderful depressive help that certain antipsychotics give, they also give irreversible tardive dyskinesia which is involuntary muscle movements. Most of the older antipsychotics inflict this permanent condition but tardive dyskinesia has also been associated with the newer antipsychotics like seroquel, risperdal and abilify. I have a slight arm movement every once in a while due to abilify. My doctor says to just chalk it up to the med. Insulting to say the least. A national lawfirm Ennis and Ennis is representing individuals who qualify for possible compensation against the drug companies. How about compensation against the doctors who knowingly prescribed the drugs?
