Going to the psychiatrist tomorrow, and wanting to get the most out of the appointment that I possibly can. I've been on the same meds now for pretty much the whole semester, and I still havn't been feeling all that great lately. Wondering if maybe we're going to change the meds, but not really sure.

I don't like all this uncertainty, trial-and-error methods of medicine for depression and mood and what not, but I guess that's how it goes.

I have a lot of somatic manifestations of depression too, like just physical pain and stuff, that's really uncomfortable. I know in the long run, it is probably emotional work that is going to stop those things...but I just don't know how long that is going to take. I've been dealing with this pain for a while now, and it doesn't seem to be letting up.

Hopefully the doc can help. At least I really like him and trust him, so that's good.

I think it is great that you prepare yourself so well for the appointment with the psychiatrist. Good luck!
