I'm in the same boat as you guys. My family doesn't understand either. I don't ever talk to them about being depressed or anything. I've been depressed for years and never wanted to tell my mom. Wasn't until about a month ago that my mom found out from my friend. Told my mom how "she couldn't handle me", called the cops and said I'm suicidal and since then never talked to me. I don't think anyone understands except people here and those who suffer from depression...
