This year seemed to be a fluke for me. I was pretty much by myself this year. All day I had crazy flashbacks of family members who passed away, and just different cases of me feeling abandoned. Today was the first Christmas I've spent alone.

If you going to be alone, you will have to learn to like your company.
Thanks for this!

I think that the first time we celebrate holidays alone can be a bit frightening. when it is the first holiday after a death in the family, it is considered kind of an emotional landmark. Probably the next time you need to do it, it won't be so bad. ((((((Benvolent insanity))))))))))))

Well I'm in the military, so going home for the holidays is the highlight of my year. It gets me away from the stresses at work and helps me reflect on how thankful I am for having the family that I have. When I wasn't able to go home because of money problems, I was shattered. I'm still upset about it, but I met someone the other day and I've been a bit happier lately.

Now if my truck's battery would just work. >.<
