Is There anything you can say to make someone see that you dont look at them differently than before??

Babysteps and Msolson , sure, oopssorry if i confused you, a close friend of mine suffers from depression and I believe something else but he cant tell me, he cant bring himself to tell me. I think he thinks I will see him differently cause we have been close friends so long, Im very worried and care alot about him and want to show him theres nothing that would change my opinion of him , I need some advice??

I guess just being honest and telling him exactly that, that you will always be there for him no matter what. Sometimes it is very hard to open up to others when you are suffering from depression, so just letting him know that you are there to listen and not judge. Sometimes, I wish people in my life would just listen and not offer advice. It can be a relief just to vent and know that person is just going to listen. Hope this helps

Aww thanks msolson, the prob is he has trouble communicating , not a big talker, Im afraid if i say lets talk, he will get scared.

I also have communication problems myself. I guess simply saying, "If you every need to talk, I'm here," would let him know you are there without making a big deal about it. Good luck

100% agree. I have a hard time communicating with anyone about how I'm feeling as well. Usually don't say a word to anyone. I too think "they will look at me different". But I agree with msolson, just tell him that you'll be there if you (he) needs to talk about anything. Chances are he'll come around and talk to you since you offered to listen. Sometimes it just takes time to become comfortable admitting that (he) has a problem.
