My father is on the verge of dying. He has gotten to the point where he can not speak but is still aware. I am expecting he will die within the next day or two. I am doing okay. Because I am not sure when he will die, I have not been taking the Ambien to sleep. I am very tired but that is nothing like how my mother is. She has been going non stop for days now. Thank You for all the support you have given me.

I'm sorry to hear about your father.. It sounds like he had a stroke to not be able to talk..Just remember when and if he passes, That he will always be with you as long as you carry him in your heart..I think right now you need to focus on your mom.. It sounds like she is having a rough time thru this..

I'm sorry about your father and what your dealing with now. It is hard to lose a parent. You do need to take care of yourself. It is hard to get sleep at a time like this, I lost my mom and I didn't get much sleep while she was in the hospital. If you must take a sleep med and its safe to, by all means do it so you can get rest. If you have a T let him/her know whats going on also. I pray for you and your family that you are given the strength to get through this and that your pain will subside with time.
