i thought things couldnt get worse, tonight mum rang the posion help line an asked them what certain meds an alcohol would do to someone as her friend had done it... they told her that they would go unconscious an stop breathing... so she took the pills an the alcohol.. the only reason i know bout the help line is cause i rang them an they said someone had rang earlier about a similair situation an thought it was mum trying to make sure she did it right this time. the ambulance said if it wasnt for our quick acting she would be dead. worst is her ex boyfriend knew an never told anyone even though he had our numbers... she could have died cos of him. dad broke down the door an we got an amulance as he tried to keep her conscious... they arrrived but needed to call for more help..
shes still in hosp an they wont tell us much, all they have said is there worried bout her heart as its racing one min then slowly the next... i hope shes ok we just have to wait.. i cant stop crying, an thinking bout doing it myself. mum means the world to me

teary that is just awful. I am really sorry this happened to you mom and to you. Just think how wonderful it is that you found her when you did. That is a very lucky thing.

Keep us up to date on her progress. I hope everything gets better soon.

That sounds like it was so scary. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Please take care of yourself during this stressful time.
