I used to wanna live inside a fairy tale, where everything would be perfect and complete, but then one day something went wrong, and I was no longer me.

I've struggled since then, with every twist and turn, everythings so sickening, it makes my stomach churn.

I can't get far through life, with a broken smile hanging limply on my face, but I can't get up and help myself, without someones embrace.

It sorta works hand in hand, to get a feeling you've got to try, and if you don't, you're bound to cry.

You can't get a hug without telling the truth, and you can't tell the truth without a hug.

So tell me, when they say that family and friends help you, how come it's them who make you this way? They can't help if they're causing the problem.

I've been depressed for 1 year, 4 months, and 17 days. But no one sees that.. do they? No, or else I would be okay, and I'm not, I'm far from it.

Sometimes we just have to let our families and the people in our lives see the pain. It was not a choice for me, I went to bed for a few months. Got the point across. Speak up about your needs and let us know what we can do to help. I found that by simply saying CRAP I HAVE HAD IT! I started to accept it and feel a bit better each day. Good luck.

Depression often goes unnoticed by others... we become such good "fakers".. so much so we begin to wonder what is truth? What is reality? Family and "friends" have no clue what we go through. Only my T is true support. I wish for you someone too, to understand you.

Do you wish to share what happened to depress you 1 year, 4 months, and 20 days ago?
