Hi eternal,
Gosh, depression is so like that! We spend our time wishing that people would like us, and then when they do, we can't handle it. Depression is full of tricks like that. Well, at least we can share the feelings. Good thoughts, M |

Cat,
Relax. Myzen is correct. Our depression conditions us to focus soley on our flaws. Why dont you concentrate on your positives. I know its easier said then done. Obviously there is something good about you that this person see's in you so try to see that in yourself. I wish you luck with this. Take care. Jen |

Hi, eternal cat & friends:
Your subject line about dropped me flat. I spend so much time worrying about whether I have anyone in my life who really likes (or loves) me. I'm fighting a serious depression like I've never experienced before, and I don't seem to be able to "take things with a grain of salt." Everything just makes me sob. I wish "being liked" wasn't so important to me. Any ideas, thoughts, advice from anyone? Thanx - JPicklemom
