I woke up feeling a bit light hearted and at peace.
I have no reason for it. I have been severely depressed in the past week or two.
I have nothing to give celebration too...and I am quietly going to enjoy a day of freedom in my mind.
Could this be the fork in the road that steers me in a better direction? Or just a small bump out of the darkness?

This is what I hate about all of this...you have a good day and you are afraid it is just a fluke.

SJ...Good to hear! Yes!!! Think of this as the "fork in the road!" and not as some fluke.
I too have felt a lightening of spirit in the last day or so, and I also ask myself the same questions as you, but I plan to hold onto this good feeling, nurturing it like a fragile plant that needs tending. You do the same, ya hear!
Peaceful thoughts,

yes I got scared too when I was feeling good and my T told me to enjoy them...so I am trying to do that and not think about what could come in the future...one day at a time....take care and glad to hear your doing better...

yeah.. but most ppl are too afraid to even admit they aren't having the terrible day like it's been... and many ppl can't understand how you can have a decent day "if" you are so depressed... arrrggghh hope it lasts for you
