Hi, ChinaDoll531!

PsychCentral's Wellbutrin (buproprion HCl) Page
- scroll down for information and several reviews by PC posters

I was on buproprion for a while years ago. If I remember, it had fewer side effects than another drug I had been taking (Paxil?), but it was no more effective. In my case, antidepressants by themselves do little for me.

It is hard to compare drug experiences. Wellbutrin had me climbing walls.

Wellbutrin helped for a whole year---then it turned on me--became anxious, anorexic, insomnia--had been on Paxil prior to that, wasn't much help......
New course of Med cocktail=Zoloft--only 4 days on but am feeling less anxious, and am sleeping------------hope all goes well for you on your vacation--let us know!

Just treat yourself with care until you know what the side effects are going to be *hug*

I took bupropion for little while but stopped because it made me restless, sweaty and unable to sleep. Very rare for medication to give me any side-effects.
