I went back to my pdoc this afternoon, and took the Abilify samples that she'd given me, and gave them back. They were unopened.
I told her that I am very depressed and I do want something to add to my Effexor XR, but I was worried about taking Abilify, because of the possibility of developing diabetes. I told her I wasn't trying to be difficult, and thankfully, she was very nice about writing me a script for Wellbutrin. I ended up having to take the generic bupropion SR. I wanted the real stuff but the generic was $2.19 and the Wellbutrin was $57.99. Hopefully the generic will work just as well. I came home and took one. I was suppose to wait for morning, but I feel so crappy that I wanted to get it in my system.

Good luck, I really hope it works for you.
Don't be afraid to call the doctor in a few days if it's not working right for you =)

In depression . . . faith in deliverance, in ultimate restoration, is absent. The pain is unrelenting, and what makes the condition intolerable is the...feeling felt as truth...that no remedy will come -- not in a day, an hour, a month, or a minute. . . . It is hopelessness even more than pain that crushes the soul.-William Styron |
