Today I woke up
And stumbled out of bed Even with the coffee The fogginess wouldn't leave my head. I feel so unimportant In this great big world Maybe in an hour I'll feel the medication whirl It's now middle afternoon And the pain is still there I look out at the road But my answer is nowhere. Coming on to early eve And the dishes still aren't done I sit here and wonder Is there anything other than one? I crawl back into bed In hopes of a different morn' Knowing good and well The fogginess will return. ![]() |
