Perhaps you can relate what you are seeing with a feeling or a desire that you may have that is so frightening it stays hidden from the mind?
Loving scenes can make me tear up, and I know it is partly because of what I want now and what I wanted when I was young but was not available to me. So to deal with that pain, I buried the need and desire. If I convinced myself I didn't want it, then not having it didn't hurt. But something buried is still there...and can resurface. When this happens to you, take a moment to non-judgementally think about what is happening and the point where the tears began: that will reveal to you something about yourself ![]() |

Almost every film I watch makes me want to cry at some point.
