Some days are great ya know. But some days, things happen. And those happenings can be triggers for me that will spiral me out of control.

I am doing all I can to fight those off. But earlier this week I went to sleep lying next to my wife, wondering what kind of method I could use if I decide to give up.

So...I just had a potential triggering event. And maybe it has to do with the Saturday, maybe it's my faith, but I fought that one off. I am not going to let it get to me.

those triggers can be nasty little buggers can't they?

triggers can throw me in a downward spiral too. i know intellectually that the trigger is false infomation but the trigger can overrride my good sense sometimes. i have to be vigilant about these false facts when they occur particularly about me. it's hard but practice helps.

yes they can be nasty. but i'm glad you fought it off. i just try to distract myself, and sometimes i think i'm going crazy but it'll be ok. i just tell myself, "get through tonight, you'll be fine in the morning". As much as i hate it, it works. Dont let the bad thoughts overtake everything else.

When I get hit with that and I feel like I am going to do something unhealthy I try and tell myself "it's bad, just don't make it worse."

Usually get's me through the immediate crisis and t the next moment or day when (hopefully) I see things a little different. If I don't, I go right back to the same statement.

((hugs))
