Does anyone relate to what I describe as "Cheerful Depression" ? I think it might qualify as a mixed state. I might call it inappropriate cheerfulness. It makes it easy to float through the day but it is hard to handle. Other people have told me that mixed states are the worse thing. Does anyone have any coping strategies?

"I hide my pain like the rest of them,
That's why I'm always laughing, I'm troubled, I'm brilliant and miserable too, That's why I am so funny." P!nk People say that I am funny... at times I feel down. I have very dark and cynical humor and I read a lot of Kafka and i am into dadaism... so I laugh at bad situations, because it's so absurd.

Yeah. I laugh a lot when I am sad or angry especially. People think I'm hilarious and carefree. Ah, well. Always something for someone, right?
