I've come back to squawk. Is it me?
Tell me if I'm being petty or overly sensitive. I appreciate honesty.
When I was in high school-I lived at home with my Mom and my step-dad,Pop, my sister, who's a year older then me, and my only brother. My older 2 sisters were on their own.
Anyway, my Mom had my sister and my brother's high school pictures, framed and hanging up on the wall. Mom had gotten the pictures from the school. My picture was never framed and hung up. Okay? So, I'm like "MOM! Why don't you have my picture hanging up?" and she's says "If you want me to hang up your picture then give me one". Okay-another thing I have a gripe about...
Same house and living arrangements-the three of us kids had "pet"names. My brother's pet name was BabyMarvolous, my sister's pet name was BabyYumYum and my pet name was Baby*****.
Okay, maybe I was a little rebellous. Maybe I did deserve that pet name but I am still mad about not having my picture hanging up. To this day I'm very sensitive about whether or not people have my picture out on display.

It's so stupid.

I'm going to send her a picture of me and tell her I want it framed and hung up. I am. I have to get one taken. Hmmmmm... Is it me?

I'll have one taken of me with my tongue sticking out at her. Yeah! Grr.

Got an idea, rather than send her one and have her get it framed, etc. Do one better, get it framed yourself, and hang it on whatever wall at her home, you wish. Pardon my humour, but I personally think that is what I would do if it bothered me, plus I'd be making it well known with mom and the family, ha!ha!
Take care now,
DE

Why marbles? Did he think you were losing yours?

My Mom has a great sense of humor. She'll get such a kick out of it.

Yes and I'd definetly get it framed. Only, it's hard for me to find something to wear that she wouldn't like. I broke her in as a teenager. I use to wear the most outragous things and she'd say how people would look at me when we would go out together and she'd say she didn't care what other's thought because she thought I was beautiful, regardless.
(She can be very sweet. Is it me? )
I think I'll give it to her as a Christmas present.

Thanks for your input.

(Oh, by the way, my brother's pet name was BabyDumpling not BabyMarvelous-but he WAS so stinkin' marvelous. Ug!)
