I had my last class today for the semester. I am done with my papers and didn't have any tests. I have almost three weeks until classes start again. I'm worried about this unscheduled time. I do really badly with unscheduled time. I end up getting my sleep out of whack and end up depressed. I'm hoping this wont happen this time. Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep this from happening? My friends are all going home so they wont be around to hang out with. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I can relate to what you are saying. I have my last lecture on Thurs and then nothing until the 17th Jan. I do have two essays to write though so that will keep me busy. But I like to have other things to do too. Not things on my own all the time!

Can you plan little things for you to do each day, like going for a walk? Going out for a coffee? Relaxing with a book? Getting ahead on work for next term?

I know how difficult unscheduled time is!!!!
Thanks for this!

How about trying to keep a regular sleeping schedule as much as possible during the break? If you normally get up at a certain time for classes, still get up at that time. Then fill the day with whatever you want or have to do. Then go to bed at roughly the same time every night.

Whatever you choose to try, good luck.
