hello. I have been hovering in the background checking out this site and i thought it was about time i joined. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm 23 and suffer from moderate to severe depression / stress / anxiety as a result of multiple bereavement (entire family now dead) and stress at work (high school teacher in really tough school)
Don't know anybody here and it would be great if i got to know some of you!

Talk to you soon!

I hope you can find the help you are looking for, and I hope you feel at home soon..

Sounds like teaching is starting to get worse again. I remember when I was in highschool.. WE respected our teachers.. But not in todays society

My uncle named his cat Mildred... I never knew why and thought it was kind of .... different? Maybe he saw the same show as you. He died at 42 with heart disease, always kind of a stranger to me, but we have such a small family, what memories I have are very significant.

I once had a grey tabby named Bugs. After Bugs Bunny. I adopted him from someone who cared for him but could just tell he and I had a great connection. He was my best friend. Followed me everywhere, waited for me to get home. Wasn't a needy sort how cats can sometimes be, really independant but for some reason, adopted me too.

My ex-wife brought home two kittens one day and Bugs ran away. He came back one time, looked like he was on the brink of suicide to me.. skinny, eyes yellowed, ratted hair... I tried to coax him home, but he wouldn't stay. I still miss him
