I have been reading about mercury poisoning being more common than expected. It can be a cause of depression in some people.

Mercury poisoning can be caused by:

1. Childhood immunizations contained thimerosal until 2001. Thimerosal is a mercury-containing organic compound used as a preservative and to keep the injection site free of harmful microbes.

2. Thimerosal is still used in some flu shots. A single vile flu shot usually just has trace amounts.

3. Mercury fillings, or silver amalgams, in teeth; and silver lined crowns.

4. Eating large marine fish, such as tuna, that has been exposed to mercury in the ocean.

5. Having used the antiseptic Mercurochrome or Merthiolate when growing up.

6. Living in a area with coal-burning industrial facilities.

Testing and treatment for mercury poisoning is controversial. Treatment resistant depression went on for so long for me that I am exploring any possible contributor to my symptoms.

If you have had experience with mercury poisoning, or have information about it please share your knowledge with me.

Thanks!
Caramel

If you can afford to have the amalgams removed, do so. I did. I was assured of reactions when the teeth with those fillings began resonating! Have your body metals level checked too.
