Me too. Dysthymic disorder is my primary diagnosis. Willow, yes, dysthymia is the same thing. So, dyscat, how long have you been depressed? I can trace it back to age 9 pretty clearly. I guess that's 25 years.

I'm from Tennessee dyscat

I have apparently had dysthmia since childhood. It is in combination with PTSD and OCD. It is managed beautifully with one medication. Lexapro is my magic pill.

Willow,
Wow, that sounds like a heavy load. I'm glad to hear you've found a 'magic med'. I haven't found one yet. Im currently on Paxil and Concerta. Seems to be working, so we'll see.

You're from Tennessee? Kewl. So, what kind of things are you interested in?

Dias, it may be possible that the poster here was hoping to find more than your "1 liner(s)", maybe you can offer him or her something more informative?
Thanks

dyscat... i hope you can find the med that helps you.
I know my DX sounds like a lot. I don't feel disabled from it though. I must have only mild cases. The medication really does help. More than I realized it could. I had to try several different cocktails to find the right med though.
