I did manage to clean up a little more... more sorting in my computer room so I can get ready to go over my bills. AND today I went out food shopping on my scooter... this is not a solution to my transportation probs as I can't carry very much on it, plus it won't be good when the weather gets colder, but at least I didn't have to feel TRAPPED here today without having a car.

Didn't get done as much as I wanted but my goal wasn't to get it "all" done, my goal was to make some progress, and I did that, and I have several noticably cleaner rooms to remind myself of that as I walk through my house.

Yep, changing the environment can make a big difference. I'm naturally a slob, but when I actually take the time to clean and get organized, I feel so much better. (It's like exercise that way...I don't want to do it, but I know I'll feel better if I do.)

<font color="darkblue"> ((((DEXTER)))) I wanted to revisit this thread... and tell you how much I appreciate your posting. I sure missed you while you were gone (and asked for you a few times too!) I'm glad you're back posting... even this seemingly "simply" thread idea... thinking about you doing these items, and posting positively about it helps me.. I don't keep much in my head from here, but this one I do... it's times like these that I am suffering through that I need reminders to do the basics.. ONLY the basics of what I can do.. and give myself time to adjust, recover or whatever I need.. TIME...

to not dun myself over not measuring up to anyone else's standards or expectations (or what I perceive as their expectations) is not a good thing. I need to be content with getting small things done. Just because.

Good action this weekend

Thank you sky...

I want to add that today (No program today, I am not only M,W,F in the program) I managed to enter all of my piled up receipts into my computer and then did all of my bank statements... which have been piling up through last April... and balanced my checking and savings through to my most current statement.

Tomorrow after program I plan to further separate the mail... credit cards, utilities, etc... and then on Thurday I can see about entering more and figuring out my balances.

Wow dex that's great. I am sooooooo proud of you. Now that you've done that wanna come over and help me? Sunday my neighbor lady came over for a visit and I mentioned my goal was to get my coffee table cleaned off and she sat down and helped me. We moved everything that didn't need to be on there off and now it looks nice. I then got motivated to pick up the rest of my living room and even vacuum. So now at least one room in my apartment is clean. Next weekend is the kitchen. If I don't come out in 2 days send in a search party.
