about 5 months' ago, I had some disagreements with a good friend of mine. Soon after, we broke out into a cold war. Ever since, I've been losing a lot of my good friends for no apparent reason. People start avoiding me for no reason, I became a target of many bullies who now taunt and insult me all of the time. Everything seemed to collapse on me at once.
I tried turning to my family members, but they're just more concerned about my studies. I turned to my remaining friends, but instead I just lose more of them. Then I said to myself, "I had to seek for the truth", and asked how did I became this unpopular. My ex-friends said that I'm just too matured to be their friend, that I'm not funny anymore. I had completely changed since then. I started suffering from Bipolar disorder, and I lost even more friends. I even lost my only best friend who was always there for me.
Life's so meaningless for me, I have no one to talk to, not even the teachers, the school counselors, or even my dad or mum. I really need help.

Hello & Welcome, JCGY!

From the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation: The Pain of Social Isolation
Quote:
The same psychologist offered a life raft of sorts to my very sad child. He drew the shape of a trumpet horn on a sheet of paper. The narrowest portion of the horn, he explained, represented middle school, a time when variations of “normal” behavior are not tolerated by peers. The expanding horn represented the high school years, when differences are a little more accepted, finally opening wide in young adulthood, when there is a lot more room to be different.
But, in your case, you're having trouble even speaking to the adults in your life. Yes, finding someone with whom you could really talk would be good for you. Is there a place besides school and home where you could look?
