I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who replied to me. It really helps knowing that there are people out there who are caring enough to talk to someone who so desprately needed someone to talk to. I also wanted to update everyone about my situation. My husband had a job interview yesterday. Everything went great. He is now operating a crane for a local recycling company. The pay is $9.00/hr and he will have the opportunity to work up to 16 hours overtime a week. Benefits start after 30 days. I know that will help alot of our money problems there, since my prescriptions cost about $500/mo. Then I won't have to worry about what prescription I can or can't get filled!! Thank God!! I may actually be able to stay on all of my medication now!! I don't have to worry about finding a job now. I'm glad to know I won't have to hurt myself by going back to work.
I still do have one BIG problem!! Our power bill is overdue and they are going to shut off our power on Thursday of next week. I have looked everywhere for help to no avail. We have one last option that may or may not help. There is a church that helps people with power bills, among other things. They only offer this help on Wednesday night before their church services. We went there this week but the line was so long, by the time we even got to the door, they were out of funds. We are going to go back this coming Wednesday and pray that we can get in the line before it is too long and before their funds run out. This is our last resort. There is no one else who can help. Please say a prayer for us!! We would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks for listening, tiredashell |

Tired,
Great news about your hubby finding a job. What a relief that must've been. It will take some time to catch up but at least you have a chance now. I am sorry about your electric bill. Wish there was something I could do but I will keep you in my thoughts. Just hang in there, Hon. Heidu When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.- Alexander Graham Bell

as i have the delusion i've a red phone to jesus, i'll ask him to help you. seems to work. i'm considered a 'healer' herebouts. you'll get out of this. buy a coleman lantern, really. pay the electric when you can. and understand what john stuart mill meant when he founded 'socialism' with the famous quote---'liberty without security is worthless.' ' the greatest good for the greatest number'. now you know. now if the mental health system may function for the greatest number, which is not drs. or drug cos.--but clients----more would be done.
