Hey pc fam. I hope everyone is doing great today. I need some advice or at least some insights as to why i am feeling the way i am.

I am on Prozac for depression and some anxiety. It has been working well so far. I am more focus and more alert. I am more happier. if i get upset or want to feel sad, it does not last long and im happy again. Here the problem. Today, I feel like i am walking and working in slow motion. I didnt take Prozac for 2 days because i had to wait til yesterday(9/21/11) to pick them up due to not having any money. Today, I took my first pill in 2 days. I am feeling really down in my spirit today. I feel anxious, nervous and down all at once. I don't feel like doing anything but sleeping. I feel like crying and everything. My mind wants to wonder and having all kind of thought both positive and not so positive. It is just racing. I am having to really push myself at work to even get my work done.

I don't understand. I thought i had it beat or at least had my depression/anxiety tame but i'm just not sure. It kind of gotten me feeling bad about it. Do yall have any insights on what could be going on? I really am concern about it. Thanx in advance

I'm sorry to hear today has been rough. It could be that the medication got out of your system in that time. So a few days back on it might have you feeling a bit better. Maybe you could call your pdoc and explain the situation and they may have some insight for you. I know that "racing thoughts" feeling. No fun. Sending many supportive thoughts your way...

Ya dont give up, its probably just missing your medication. If some medicine works for you that is a good sign that you will get better.
