I believe you are correct. For you, for many of us here at PC handling a job and even the simple chores of daily living demand more of us than of others.

What happened with the special employment agency working with you earlier?

Well, Illegal, what have you done to try to find a job? Have you had jobs before? How much schooling have you had? Any specific job-oriented training? Do you know any business-owners who might give you a job? How old are you? What country do you live in? What do you like to do? Have you been diagnosed with any specific diseases that might interefere with your working? It would be interesting to hear what you have to say. Take care!

They're useless. They're less help than the regular employment agencies.

I thought an employment agency running as part of a Disability employment scheme would offer EXTRA assistance, not less.
Thanks for this!

Nothing, i like to watch TV and eat and play video games. I ahve social phobia and depression and i also had some hypochondriasis which caused me to stress out and lose half the feeling in my body. But apart from that, nothing i know of.

Hi Illegal Toilet

Feel for you, mate! If you find out how to do this let me know Please! You are definitely not the only one suffering with these overwhelming situations!
With SSRI Citalopram, and a great Psychologist, I'm starting down that road now - looking for job, place to stay, car etc - BUT always little steps at a time! and try not beat yourself up - hard to do . . . Good Luck!

I'm in the US and get a fixed income for disability, but it is just enough to barely get by. No extras like new clothes or a dinner out, etc. It is an awful struggle as I tend to not manage my money too well. I dont' exactly make the best decisions when I am in a manic phase. I am also an easy target for others looking for a handout, a cigarette, food, money etc. Learning to say no finally but now keeping to a budget.
I just make a list of my bills and pay them on the day I get my check and then whatever is leftover is what I live on. Usually doesn't work too well as I am penniless by the 3rd week and then have a week where I am borrowing money. Then I start in the hole when my next check comes. And of course no one ever pays me back.
