Of course you should. I've been going to a T every week for almost *gasp* 15 years. It's the REASON I feel good on a consistent basis.

If you can afford it, that is. But, IMO, if you felt lousy a few days ago (which you did -- because you posted so), then feeling good TODAY or even YESTERDAY is not enough time to decide to can the T. Maybe after you've felt good for a month or two.

The important thing is to work with the T to resolve the issues that contributed to the negative feelings in the first place. Just because the bad feelings are gone, it doesn't necessarily mean that all of the issues are resolved.

Good luck!

Hi, Tina!
This is my opinion: Yes, I think you shall go! The T can give you some advice how to KEEP yourself on the "healing road". Some positive and important thoughts to keep in mind when times might get rough.

yes, absolutely, you must keep that appointment. And the one after that...and the one after that...

yes you should imho. the problem with therapy is that many of us work on it when we *need* it (when we're feeling bad) often we're not up to working on things when we feel that way. go to your appointment. it's worth putting the effort in to experience many many happy days rather than one every now and then. let us know how it goes. need advice
