It and will go away (or at least lessen to a normal function), but first you must help it to leave by doing the emotional healing needed for it release.
Release IT - and you will be found again.... seek and you shall find, but ignore IT and it will stay around forever.

Welcome to psych central, triger. I'm sorry you need "us" here but glad you found us.

Tell us more ...do you have help in fighting this depression? It can be a really impossible battle by yourself, imo.

Hi Triger and welcome to PC.

Depression is an illness and we have to find ways to deal with it. The more you know about it, the better you can handle it or find ways to cope with it.

Would you like to talk more about it or how you are feeling?

Take good care of yourself ok.

Hi, Triger! depression

Yes a bit more information (as you feel comfortable) will help us support you better. Some depressions are situational like a death in the family, maybe a divorce, like that. The depression will eventually go away but can be lessed a bit with meds and some counseling.

Depression that is due to a chemical imbalance in the brain is an illness and, if you have not done so already, an eval by a psychiatrist to determine how you can be best helped.

Good luck and please check in with us! depression
