I am feeling angry and hurt after being betrayed by someone I thought was my closest friend. To top it all off I can't even comfront her because we live far apart and she is too much of a coward to pick up the phone or even answer an email. I also bewildered because I keep asking myself what I did to deserve this?

Maybe she felt you had grown apart but you did not deserve this! I hope you find more true friends soon....

If you want to talk more, we are here!
Take care,
Fuzzy

I am sorry what happened in your relationship. Betrayal hurts so much. Perhaps you might think of writing a letter to get out all your feelings about the betrayal - everything you want to say. Then after sitting on the letter for a while, re-write it in a way that could be sent to someone else giving authenticity to how the event made you feel.
*hugs*
